Eco-Printed Garden Cosmos Tank #005 - Size Medium

Sizing warning: these ribbed-fit tanks run very small. I recommend choosing 2 sizes larger than your usual size. They're washed in very hot water before dyeing and printing, so they've shrunk. Before ordering, lay a tank that fits you well flat, measure across the bust from armpit to armpit, and compare with the measurements below. The width is measured flat, not all the way around the chest.

I hand-printed this one-of-a-kind all-cotton tank top using real flowers foraged directly from my garden. No two pieces in my shop are ever identical. The designs are colorfast and lightfast and will not wash out, but care for your purchase gently.

The Process: I tightly wrapped this tank into a bundle around a pipe using string, creating the unique resist-line patterns you see on the upper back. I then simmered the bundle for 30 minutes in an electric turkey roaster infused with real onion skins to give the background its soft, warm earth tone.

The Botanicals: Features white and pink cosmos flowers and leaves. The white cosmos left beautiful yellow and orange imprints, while the pink cosmos printed a stunning blue-green leaf pattern.

Fabric: 100% Cotton

Care: Hand wash cold with mild pH-neutral soap, or machine wash on a delicate cycle. Hang to dry out of direct sunlight to protect the natural plant pigments.
