Eco-Printed Silk Scarf #101

This one-of-a-kind, hand-printed  silk scarf captures the beauty of nature with warm pink and yellow tones. Sumac leaves unexpectedly printed yellow! The magic of the eco print process. Soft feminine colors abound.  No two pieces in my shop are ever identical. The designs are colorfast and lightfast and will not wash out, but care for your purchase gently.

The Process: With this scarf I laid the leaves on the fabricand used a pink dye blanket on top and I tightly wrapped all this into a bundle around a pipe and simmered the bundle for 60 minutes in an electric turkey roaster to get this beautifully printed scarf.
