Eco-Printed Silk Scarf #102

This one-of-a-kind, hand-printed  silk scarf captures the beauty of nature with warm pink and rust tones. Some blue dye make a sneaky appearance along the edges of the scarf. This lovely piece has less distinct leaf prints and more of an all over soft color. The magic of the eco print process.  No two pieces in my shop are ever identical. The designs are colorfast and lightfast and will not wash out, but care for your purchase gently.

The Process: With this scarf I laid the leaves and flowers on the fabric and used a pink dye blanket on top and I tightly wrapped all this into a bundle around a pipe and simmered the bundle for 60 minutes in an electric turkey roaster to get this beautifully printed scarf.
