Eco-Printed Silk Scarf #105

This 1-of-a-kind, hand-printed  silk scarf captures the beauty of nature with cool blues and brown tones. Coral Bell leaves and pale blue dye are used to create a soft subtle watercolor effect. This is a more minimalist design. There are touches of pink dye along the edges.  The designs are colorfast and lightfast and will not wash out, but care for your purchase gently.

The Process: With this scarf I laid the leaves on the fabric and I tightly wrapped all this into a bundle around a pipe and simmered the bundle for 30 minutes in an electric turkey roaster to get this beautifully printed scarf.
